During the heat of summer, having a good air conditioning system is crucial. No sooner had Max Gonzales made it over that hump than his AC went on strike. he had to get help, and temperatures were rising. So we at Olive Air & Heating were ready with our AC repair rescue team to save the day!

The Fault: Broken Fan Motor

Despite pouring out cold air non-stop for who knows how long, his AC unit fan motor gave way. he was melting through the Arizona heat as the system could not circulate air properly without a fan motor. Realizing the importance of this situation, we got to his home in Gilbert, AZ almost immediately.

It was determined by one of our technicians that the cooling fan motor was no longer working. The engine was obviously beyond mud repair and it needed to be replaced to restore functionality to the system. We immediately got to work so he wouldn’t have to suffer through the heating process anymore.

AC Repair: New Motor, Compressor Saver & Deep Clean

After diagnosis, we replaced his burned-out fan motor with a new OEM part and all was right in the world; he was back to having cold air from his AC again. But we didn’t stop there. We also installed a compressor saver to assist the system.

The compressor saver is a small, yet important tool that protects against power surges to keep your AC running properly and extend its life.

We also performed an AC maintenance service for him. As time goes on, dirt and debris can build up inside the unit which will make it inefficient at functioning properly and could cause more damage.
